Michigan Insurance Coalition praises The Doctors Company and ACE American Insurance Company
Lansing, Mich. – The Michigan Insurance Coalition (MIC) congratulates two of their member companies, The Doctors Company and ACE American Insurance Company, for being named on the prestigious 2013 Ward’s 50 P&C Insurers List.
The Ward’s 50 P&C Companies list recognizes the top 50 property and casualty insurance companies. Each company has passed safety and consistency screens and has shown excellent performance over the previous five years that Ward’s Group analyzed. This is the 23rd year Ward Group has created this list.
The Doctors Company is the nation’s largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, with 73,000 members and $4 billion in assets, and is rated A by A.M. Best Company and Fitch Ratings. They were founded by doctors for doctors in 1976 and are committed to improving and protecting the practice of good medicine.
ACE American Insurance Company is the world’s largest multiline property and casualty insurer. They have operations in 53 countries and provide commercial and personal property insurance, personal accident supplemental health insurance, reinsurance, and life insurance to a large variety of clients.
